Many mobile devices break and become waste because the lack of spare parts, repair guides and affordable repair options make them difficult to repair. To address this problem, we introduced the repairability index for mobile devices.

How the criterion works

Certified mobile devices receive an independently verified repairability index score based on objective assessments of factors such as spare parts availability, ease of disassembly, access to repair manuals, and software support.
